Giordano Ladies opened its first store in Singapore in the Paragon, one of the most prominent and upmarket shopping malls on Orchard Road. The store is 1,600 sq ft in size and was opened on December 11, 2004.
"The brand has performed very well in Hong Kong and we have been getting a lot of enquiries about when we will open in Singapore. In fact, we have been planning to launch Giordano Ladies in Singapore for quite some time but we decided to wait until we have the right location. The Paragon occupies a prime location on Orchard Road and is one of the best shopping malls in Singapore. Sales have been strong since the store opened so our decision to wait for the right location is vindicated. We will continue to look for suitable locations to open more Giordano Ladies stores in Singapore and elsewhere" says Melinda Wong, Brand Manager. There are currently a total of 25 Giordano Ladies stores in Hong Kong, China, Taiwan and Singapore
