March 2007 saw the launch of Giordano Concepts in Mainland China with the opening of the brand’s first store in the Grand Gateway mall in Shanghai. Located in the Xujiahui district, the Grand Gateway is one of the Shanghai’s biggest and most glamorous shopping malls. Converted from an existing Giordano outlet, the new Giordano Concepts store has recorded robust performance since its opening on March 18, with strong double-digit comparable store sales growth.

The Group is actively pursuing additional sites in Mainland China and elsewhere, with a view to growing the Giordano Concepts store network to 20 worldwide by the end of the year, and 40 by the end of 2008.
