Giordano Korea Unveils Refurbished Seoul Flagship Store
Hong Kong ˇV May 25, 2007
After two months of renovation, Giordano Koreaˇ¦s Kang Nam flagship store in Seoul re-opened in April 2007.
ˇ§We expanded the Kang Nam flagship by adding a staircase and turning the second floor which previously was used as offices into selling area. As a result, we created an additional 2,500 sq ft of retail space so that the store now occupies about 5,400 sq ft of retail space spread over two floors. The enlarged interior gives us room to create themed zones on the ground floor to showcase our expanded casual wear collection. Meanwhile the first floor, with its clean and spacious interior, is ideal for presenting our more sophisticated and upmarket lines. Finally, the new two-storey white marble façade with the back-lit windows make a bold and contemporary brand statement,ˇ¨ commented Mr Jun Seok Han, CEO of Giordano Korea. ˇ§The revamped store has been well received by our customers and it has seen a significant increase in traffic and business since re-opening. In view of the encouraging results, we will push ahead with our plan to approximately 10 outlets by end-2007. We are also planning to add about ten new outlets this year,ˇ¨ added Mr Han.
